To the Editor,
This might be something for the readers to think about on the arrest of Thomas Deegen. I, to my personal knowledge, have never met the man. I don’t even know if I would want him for a friend.
But I do wonder if Patrick Henry, George Washington, and the rest of our founding fathers would receive any better treatment from our corporate government of today than Mr. Deegen is receiving?
From what I have read about him and not just from the corporate media all he was wanting is for our government to be returned to a Constitutional government and have the corporate entities removed form what is supposed to be our Constitutional government.
I don’t remember who said this and I quote: “No slave can serve two masters!”
So how can our elected officials serve the Constitution which they took an oath to uphold at the same time be part of a corporation which does not follow the Constitution? Seems to me like there might be a conflict of interest here.
What do you readers think?
