From Linda Roberts
I was hoping by this time the city and the mayor would make people clean their homes and their businesses up.
As you cross the railroad tracks on North Street, I still see three couches on the porch of the M&K Bar. They have been sitting there at least two years.
I read the history of the M&K bar on the front page of the Wetzel Chronicle. I guess they didn’t have anything better to put there. If that wasn’t a slap in the face to the people who keeps their property up. They can’t even keep the grass moved where the B&O owns but their customers all park there. The building certainly doesn’t look like Cheers that they referred to. I feel they should cut my taxes and raise those who don’t keep theirs up.
Another eyesore is Libby Morris’ house on Maple Avenue. If that house hasn’t went down hill. The yard used to be kept so nice. The driveway clean. I think that pile of whatever in the driveway with a tarp over it has been there forever. Poor Libby.
Most people you could give them everything and they wouldn’t even know what to do with it.
Too much Govenrment interferring. Give too much away and don’t make them work for anything.
Another eyesore is Miller’s old house on Clark Street. Theat used to be a nice piece of property, but look at it now.
