Letter to the Editor,

We would like to thank everyone who helped and attended the Bingo Fund Raiser for The Amanda Jo Ice Memorial Scholarship Fund held on September 7th.

It was a great success. We would like to thank all the merchants who donated products to be raffled off and who also donated money. We would also like to thank all the friends and family who helped with the bingo and the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church and staff for allowing us to hold our Fund Raiser at Klug Hall and Danny Pastilong who called the Bingo.

We are so thankful for all the support we receive from our community. If you missed the fund raiser, donations can be made at Doolin Security Bank here in New Martinsville. Check out our Facebook Page entitled The Amanda Jo Ice Memorial Scholarship. It contains information on the scholarship, the scholarship application, pictures of scholarship recipients, along with pictures of the Bingo Fund Raiser this year.

We have already set a date for the bingo fund raiser for next year. It will be held on Sept. 13, 2015.
