From Jenny Brown
To The Editor,
The Shortline Alumni Association would like to thank the following people that donated for the Father’s Day Ride. This goes toward the Keith Highley Scholarship that is given to seniors every year. The winners this year were Nick McCardle and Allie Haught.
Special thanks also goes to The Highley family: Brad and Donna Highley for use of their property; Dave and Debbie Lancaster, and Buddy Highley for organizing it this year and gathering the donations. It was a big success.
Thanks to the following businesses: Crystal’s Creations – Uncle Sam, Martin’s True Value Hardware, Down the Lane, Darlene Brown, Valley Diner, Norris Pharmacy, Simon’s Market, Trading Post, Mason’s, Witschey’s, Shortline Station, Gump’s Port-a-Jon, J.C.
