The Wetzel County Sheriff’s Department and the Wetzel County Coalition Against Drug Abuse would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to the contributors of the first annual Wetzel County Kickoff to Summer Community picnic. The picnic was a huge success due to the money donated, time spent, and dedication given of this wonderful community.
The following is a list of those who helped make this event a success: Wetzel County Deputies Association, Ladies Auxiliary. FOE, Burger King, Quinet’s Court Restaurant, Kiwanis Club of Wetzel County, Wetzel County. Hospital, McDonald’s, Jacksonburg Pittstop, Wetzel County Coalition Against Drug Abuse, Performance Honda, Genine Watson and Allison Koontz, Wetzel Chronicle, H & H Enterprises, Arby’s, Mason’s Filling Station, Hundred Band Patrons, Wendy’s, RCS Printing, Wheeling Intelligencer, AirEvac, Magnolia Art students, Wetzel County Center for Children and Families, Witschey’s, West Virginia University Extension, Mensore’s Distributing, Wetzel County Commission, WETZ, EQT, Country Cupboard, Valley High School Outdoor Club, Wetzel County fire departments, New Martinsville Parks and Recreation, Talkington’s Gun Shop, Cindy Adams, Gump’s Sanitation, Christopher’s Voice, Adam McGill, Sherry Hayes, Brandi Briggs, all of the off-duty officers who gave up their time to help with the picnic, and all of the Wetzel County residents who came and enjoyed the safe, drug-free, family fun.
