At this time of thanksgiving, all we who live in America have much for which to give thanks.

This year I’m thankful for a good samaritan who saw my handicapped daughter’s distress call on Facebook and came to her rescue.

A water line had broken during the night, her mobile home was flooded. She can only get out of bed with help; her aid hadn’t showed, and her phones were not working. Even though I was next door, I was not aware of what was happening.

A good samaritan saw her distress call on Facebook, left his business, and came and turned off the water. He also called Panhandle Cleaning and her insurance company to report the damage. He and his wife came back to check on everything several times.

Thank you Mike Toman for having a caring heart.
