Letter to the Editor:

The First Church of God in New Martinsville would like to say “Thank You” to those who made our third Fall Fun Fest, held on Oct. 12, a success. We are so grateful that the good Lord blessed us with an absolutely beautiful day to share his love with our community. Some of the day’s activities included: Trunk or Treat, a bounce castle, a hayride down Hydro Drive, Bible handout, the “Bubble Wagon”, games, face painting, sand art, food, fun, and lots of fellowship.

Special thanks to Bridgeport Tool for the use of a tractor and trailer for our hayride. Also, thank you to Cathy Westfall for bringing the “Bubble Wagon”. We would also like to thank some other businesses for their donations and support: Bridgeport Tool, Wal-Mart, The Old Barn in Sardis, and the Hannibal Greenhouse.

Finally, without the love and support of our church family, this would not have been a success. Because of all the help mentioned above, seeds were planted and relationships were built-all for the Glory of God.
