From Kim, Erin, and Cole Smith
My family and I have overwhelming gratitude to express to so many people of our community. The recent benefit organized by Anthony Castranova, Don Larsen, Lou Ann Anderson, and the staff at Choo Choo’s and all the city employees for all they have done to help; it was truly wonderful. We greatly appreciate all the donations from our local businesses and organizations.
We would like to give a special thank you to the New Martinsville Police Department for their service during the viewing, the funeral, and graveside services for Bruce. You showed the utmost respect, and he would have been very proud.
We thank Larry Couch and all the volunteer firemen for the presentation of the American Flag over the highway. That was awesome.
I want to thank everyone at Wetzel County Hospital for their benefit and for making sure I had the time to be with Bruce while he was in Ruby Memorial Hospital and during his stay at the Rosenbaum Family House.
We thank you for the wonderful dinner after the funeral services and to everyone who helped. I cannot express how much it means to me.
We especially thank all the people who kept us in their thoughts and prayers since Bruce became sick last September. Thank you all for the phone calls, visits, cards, and gifts. Bruce loved his job, and he loved this town. It means so much to my family to know how well respected he was. Giving the deepest gratitude from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
