From Michelle Parker
The New Martinsville School PTO recently held its Fall Festival on Oct. 27. Over 400 children attended along with their parents, and a good time was had by all. We have had a lot of positive feedback from our parents and students as this was our fifth Fall Festival and we were very pleased by the turn out from the community.
Also, we would like to thank our sponsors for helping make our Fall Festival such a success. They were PPG Industries, Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union, Moose Lodge 931, Quinet’s Restaurant, Wetzel-Valley Agency, Jim Klug Excavating, Bridgeport Rentals, St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, NMS teachers for baking cakes and goodies for the cake walk, and Carolyn Andenora for donating the hay. We also would like to thank the kids of Young Life and the Community Service group from MHS for working all the carnival games.
A special thanks to all the NMS parents who have helped plan and organize this event since August. We are hoping that next year the annual Fall Festival will be even bigger and better. See ya next year!
Sincerely,
Michelle Parker
