I am happy to announce the quilt raffle raised $1,376.74 for the Jackson family. Special thanks to Julie at People’s Bank in Wal-Mart for allowing me to display the quilt and for drawing the name on Nov. 3. Keith Neyrey of Houston,Texas, won the raffle and requested the quilt be given to the family. The check and quilt were given to the Jacksons on Saturday. Special thanks to all who helped sell tickets: Choo Choo’s, Captain’s Quarters, The Flower Basket, Brenda Botizan’s office, New Martinsville Police Department, and Magnolia Cheerleaders.
