From MHS Senior Advisors
We would like to take this opportunity to thank some very special people who aided in making Magnolia’s Homecoming 2012 a huge success. Occasions Florist and Gifts donated the Queen’s bouquet of roses and the Flower Basket provided all mums and boutonnieres for the homecoming court, escorts, and attendants.
Convertibles were graciously loaned for the parade by local residents Dr. Neill and Ann Marshall, Dr. John Cain, Dr. Nunzio Pagano, Keith and Nettie Jo Herrick, Rich and Camie Williamson, Jim and Nina Winters, Sondra Greathouse, John Kocher, and Carl McDonald. Drivers for the event included Wetzel School Board employees Steve Ross, Keith Riggle, Patricia Jeffers, Jan Emch, JoBeth Simmons, Mark Blair, Pam Shockley, Becky Toman Winters, and Sondra Greathouse.
Special recognition goes to Mark Lemasters, who took all photographs for the school yearbook staff; all senior advisors who organized, set up, and chaperoned events throughout the weekend; and our administration, Mrs. Kathi Schmalz and Mr. Robb Bauer, who continue to honor the tradition of Homecoming celebrations.
Thanks goes to the Magnolia High School Athletic Boosters and Pam Brill for the beautiful color program insert showcasing the Homecoming Court and escorts, a first for our community.
Lastly, we would like to recognize and thank the New Martinsville School Jr. High Band and our own Alumni Band for marching and performing during the parade and pre-game ceremonies along with the Blue Eagle Marching Band under the direction of Amanda McPherson and Angel Copeland. Dedication and support of the local community continues to make it possible to further the tradition of Homecoming Weekend for another group of young adults bringing about wonderful memories.
Sincerely,
Senior Advisors: Jan Emch, Kim Gongola, Trisha Hartline, Keith Riggle, Jay D. Smith, Deborah Rothacher
