I, Matthew Koogler, would like to apologize for writing the letter to the editor regarding the Clarington Sunfish Festival.

My remarks were out of line, destructive, offensive, and indiscrete. The community tried hard to create a fund raiser for a ballfield for the good of the people of Clarington.

The trash I wrote was not worth printing, and I will always regret what I have stated. The community did not deserve to be treated so unjustly.

I apologize to the citizens of Clarington who worked hard to put this event together, and also the Methodist Church ladies, River Museum, vendors, and any other parties to whom I have offended.

i wish that such a foolish article had never been written. I would like to attempt to correct the situation if I can.
