The Field of Flags is in its third week in Moonachie, N.J. There have been eight more deaths this week as reported by the Defense Department. The total of fallen heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan stands at 6,285 as of Oct. 21.

May this letter serve to remind us all to remember all who have served and put themselves in harm’s way for us. May we all lift up in prayer the families and friends whose lives have forever been changed by the death of each of these soldiers.
