Hard Work Still Pays Off!

Pine Grove West Virginia is to be commended for their efforts in obtaining funding for the last phase to their sewer system upgrade. While it often seems like a miracle for small communities to provide their deserving citizens safe drinking water and safe sewage systems, Pine Grove officials took it to another level in the past year.

Last year they were in a dangerous situation with raw sewage flowing throughout the town. Mayor Richard Price and city council came up with a plan, they went to work and with the help of dedicated employees repaired the sewage problems and cleaned up the drinking water.

On Thursday last week they were rewarded for their hard work from Governor Jim Justice with a grant of $1,030,044 for completion of their aging sewer system. The town now has safe drinking water, a police force, new garbage truck and a soon to be brand new sewage system for every citizen. All without any increases to citizens monthly bills.
