Get Most of Their Money

By Staff | Oct 28, 2015

The Wetzel County Commission recently purchased a building where the Wetzel County Sheriff Department will now be able to store their ATV’s.

Proper storage of assets such as all terrain vehicles will extend their life span, and allow them to be easily utilized for emergency situations.

The Commission also agreed to give the Sheriff’s Departments’ old cruisers to the Paden City Police Department. The repurposing of county cruisers to a city police department is a responsible use of assets. A county’s support of its law enforcement is vital to maintaining safe and orderly neighborhoods. Making sure they get the most out of the money that’s been spent is equally important.
