Working, Not Whining
The news on this week’s front page seems overwhelmingly positive to us-from a wall to honor veterans and people joining the movement to fight cancer; to a picnic to help strengthen the community and even the arrest of those allegedly supplying illegal substances to our area. But we’d like to put a bit of focus on one good story in particular-that coming out of Monday night’s Pine Grove Town Council.
We would like to offer kudos to the park committee for their hard work that is seeing changes. They are holding fund raisers and little by little they are amassing a fund being put to use, with some elbow grease, to make some changes. Those committee members decided to do something, not whine about something. We think it is great that they are going to get some new park equipment.
By the way, we also support the obvious choice of halting cars from parking on the tennis court. If you can’t take action to save what you do have, why should you have anything new?
