We were so pleased to see the great turnout at Tuesday evening’s Wetzel County?Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner. We think the attendance and overall increased community participation are a direct result of making the awards a more interactive and suspenseful event.

We love that the public could vote and the fact that the honorees didn’t know who would win the award made it more exciting. In sort, it made the community more interested and involved. Kudos to the chamber at the banquet committee for taking the initiative to change the status quo — for the better.
