When Staff Writer Lauren Riggs wanted to do a story on local opinion about the gun control debate that rages in our country, she went to our readers–in the form of a Facebook post and a message board on our website, www.wetzelchronicle.com.

She wanted to hear you opinions–from both sides. Interestingly, none of the responses were in favor of stricter gun laws. She tried to get balanced opinions, but they just didn’t seem to exist.

At least to us, your responses, or lack thereof, were overwhelming.
