We’d like to welcome Larry Lemon to his new position as a Wetzel County?Commissioner. As we have seen Lemon in the past several years serving as Senator John D. Rockefeller’s northern area coordinator, we have seen a man with many favorable qualities. He always appears to be caring, discerning, and organized–as well as able to quickly listen to an issue, quickly summarize it, and suggest a solution. We believe he will bring those same qualities to his position at the county level.

We have already been impressed that since being named as commissioner, he has attended the Wetzel County Coalition?Against Drug Abuse and New Martinsville Council meetings. His desire to know and serve Wetzel County even better is evident.

Also, we can only assume that he carries with him the myriad contacts, including with Sen. Rockefeller, that he has developed over the years in his last position. So, welcome Mr. Lemon. We hope to watch you serve our citizens well while continuing the enthusiasm you have already shown.
