A Great Gift For All
The Hundred Christmas Parade wasn’t very large, but the impact of what took place afterward at the Hundred High School is undoubtedly very significant. You see, after riding through the streets of Main Street, Santa Claus made a stop there to talk with the local boys and girls-to find out their Christmas wishes and to give them a bag of candy and a toy.
With the city’s facilitation, Santa treated approximately 100 kids, not a cheap undertaking. Santa was helped by elves of every walk who purchased the DVD of historic Hundred photographs made by City Recorder Sherry Hayes and Councilman Philip Lightner.
They are at it again with another DVD of all new, historic, photographs. It is on sale for $15 from Hayes at the Hundred City Hall (775-5131). What a great Christmas gift to someone on your list, as well as the community in general.
