THOMAS BURR
Thomas Michael Burr, 83, of Smithfield, WV earned his wings on Thursday, May 21, 2026 while at Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV.
Tom was born September 3, 1942, in Brown, WV son of the late William and Pauline (Dennison) Burr.
He was a retired Head Roustabout for Pennzoil Company, a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Cuban Missile Crisis, enjoyed fishing, going to flea markets and spending time at his cabin. Was very proud of owning a model A Ford and he was a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Mary Ann Burr and sister, Barbara Killcoyne.
Surviving are his three children, John (Cathy) Burr of Middlebourne, WV, David Burr of Smithfield, WV and Margaret Ice of Chatsworth, GA; three grandsons, Michael (Merriah) Burr of St. Clairsville, OH, Levi (Alexus Scott) Ice of Chatsworth, GA and Jacob (Chelsey Deal) of Chatsworth, GA; great grandchildren, Oakley, Stryker, Grayson, Makinley, Koleson and Piper.

Friends received from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at the Williams Funeral Home, 12750 Shortline Highway, Pine Grove where services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2026 with Honor Guard services conducted at the conclusion of the service at the funeral home. Burial to follow afterwards in Mannington Memorial Park near Mannington, WV.
