Clarence “Tuck” Schoonover, age 86, of Sardis, OH, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026.

He was born Sept. 11, 1939, in Sardis, OH, a son of the late Calvin and Dessie Barth Schoonover.

He was a retired glass worker at Viking Glass. Tuck liked to fish and coon hunt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Longwell Schoonover and a sister, Betty Huffman.

Survivors include his three sons, Scott Schoonover, David Schoonover and Charles Schoonover, all of Sardis, OH; daughter, Loretta (Tom) Lallathin of Sardis, OH; two brothers, Ross Schoonover and Donald Schoonover, both of Sardis, OH; sister, Patsy (Bill) Thompson of Sardis, OH; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Schoonover, Jason Lallathin, Chad Lallathin and Kyra Hudson; 5 great grandchildren, Ellie Lallathin, Bryson Lallathin, Gavin Lallathin, Ethan Lallathin and Sawyer Hudson; and several nieces and nephews.

Private visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Thomas Lallathin officiating.

Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery New Martinsville, WV.
