Jeffery Wayne Forrester

Jeffery Wayne Forrester, 66, of New Martinsville, WV left this world on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Jeff was born July 9, 1959, in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Ross Ira and Mae Eleanore (Resseger) Forrester.

He was a retired truck driver. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies, hunting, fishing, mowing the grass 3 times a week, repairing lawn mowers for other people, having family get togethers and picking arguments.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeri Ariel Forrester and brother, Mike Resseger.

Surviving is his wife with whom he shared forty-four years, Martha (Williams) Forrester; two children, Austin Wayne Forrester of New Martinsville, WV and Kari (Derek Baker) Flamae Forrester of Proctor, WV; two grandbabies, Jonas Wayne Baker and Eli Logan Baker; ten siblings, Larry Resseger of New Martinsville, WV, Jack (Adriena) Forrester of Ravenswood, WV, David Forrester of Ravenswood, WV, Timothy Forrester of Ravenswood, WV, Thomas Forrester of New Martinsville, WV, Sharon Forrester of New Martinsville, WV, Randy Forrester of New Martinsville, WV, Rodney (Diana) Forrester of Middlebourne, WV, Steve Forrester of New Martinsville, WV and Rhonda (Larry) Dennis of Woodsfield, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received noon until time of service at 4 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV with David Benson officiating. Burial to be held at the convenience of the family.
