Carl Edward Butcher Jr.
Carl Edward Butcher Jr., 66, of Sistersville, WV, passed away Friday February 13, 2026.
Carl was born March 7, 1959 son of the late Carl and Mary (Wilkinson) Butcher.
He was a Green Barret in the U.S Army, retiring after sixteen years of service. He played a large role in the Sistersville VFW and American Legion. He was the owner of The Pink Panther and The Body Shop. Carl loved to entertain and make music, his first band being Tumbleweed and the second, Propaganda. He also loved to play pool and had a special place for D&D. For those who knew Captain Carl, he loved everyone, a social butterfly, and quite the Casanova.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Wanda and Penny.
Surviving is his children, Tana (Michael) Kocher of Sistersville, WV, Brooke Perrualt of Wheeling, WV, Nikki Fender, of Wheeling, WV, Karr Lee Butcher of Woodsfield, OH, and Mary “Logan” Butcher of Brunswick, OH; grandchildren, Johnathon, Andrew, Shayli, Elim, Remmington, Atlas, and Frances; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home in Paden City, WV. Burial in the West Virginia National Cemetery, Grafton, West Virginia at the convenience of the family.
