Inez J Frye

Inez J Frye, 90, of Hannibal, Ohio passed away at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Inez was born February 19,1935 in Sardis, Ohio, to the late Homer and Clara Straub Tisher.

She was a retired cook for the Switzerland of Ohio School District, dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Inez had many talents including gardening, home canning, quilting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, and baking.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Marty and beloved granddaughter, Erika Tillett and nephew, Ronald Marty.

Inez is survived by her husband of 69 years, Perry Frye, her daughter, Twila (Greg) Plas, son, David (Linda) Frye, granddaughters, Ashley Frye and Katie Plas, great granddaughters, Lexi Tillett, Lily Tillett, and Lyla Tillett, along with several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Powhatan Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Church of Christ Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund c\o 42198 Homer Reef Road Sardis, OH 43946.
