Joseph Steven Kroll

Joseph Steven Kroll, 78, of Greensburg, PA formerly of Paden City left this world on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Joe was born August 13, 1946, in New Martinsville, WV son of the late Joseph A. and Theresa L. (Newmeyer) Kroll.

Dad loved West Virginia and the people of the Paden City/New Martinsville area. He loved his family, telling stories, watching sports and movies, making smart remarks and fish sandwiches.

He retired from the Marketing department of Bayer, a U.S. Army veteran. Joe enjoyed golfing, making people laugh, being a Paden City Wildcat, growing up in Paden City and was huge fan of the Steelers and WV Mountaineers. Joe loved his children and grandchildren. He was a Catholic by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Kroll.

Surviving are his children, Matt (Catherine) Kroll of Morrisville, NC and Jennifer (Bryan) Delsite of Coraopolis, PA; three grandchildren, Benjamín, Lydia and Sarah and several cousins.

Friends received 1-4 p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home in Paden City where funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2025 with Fr. Joseph Abraham officiating. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville.
