Lewellyn Warren Dawson

Lewellyn Warren Dawson, 63, formerly of Porters Falls, WV passed away at the Sistersville Center on May 14, 2025.

He was a member of the Wetzel County Moose Lodge 131 and the Eagles Club in Paden City. He was a decorated combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm while serving for the US Army in the 24th Infantry Division.

He was born February 18, 1962 the son of the late Edward Nicklin and Fannie Rose Conley Dawson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Josephine Wilda Dawson Edgell, two stepbrothers, Gordon Dawson and Coleman Dawson, three stepsisters, Luella, Gay and Rosalie, a brother-in-law, Francis Muzzy.

Surviving are two brothers, Joseph Wiley (Kathy) Dawson and John Andrew (Jennifer) Dawson, a sister, Allyn Muzzy, a stepbrother, Randy (Pat) Dawson, a stepsister, Audrey Dawson, several nieces and nephews.
