Elizabeth “Flo” (Derby) Pribble

Elizabeth “Flo” (Derby) Pribble, age 75, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away April 24, 2025, at WVU Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.

She was born on January 23, 1950, in New Dale, WV the daughter of Robert Lee Derby and Bessie Jane (Blake) Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Norman Derby, Robert Derby Jr and Dale Derby.

Flo was a dedicated homemaker to her four daughters. She cherished chatting on the phone, keeping in touch with her friends, and solving crossword puzzles. Flo was also a devoted member of the Limestone Methodist Church in New Martinsville.

Survivors include four daughters, Bonnie (David) Steele of New Martinsville, Cindy (Rodney) Adams of Middlebourne, Shannon (Jim) Anderson of New Martinsville, and Jessica (Matt) Morris of New Martinsville; brother, Timothy (Cheryl) Derby of Weirton, WV, eight grandchildren; Chelsea (Corey) Dakan, Austin (Chelsey) Steele, Cody Adams, Timothy Adams, Raylee Anderson, Raegan Anderson, Madison Morris and Maci Morris; two great grandchildren Chloe and Carter Dakan; two very dear aunts Mae Yoho and Judy Utt; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday, from 2-4 pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, where services will be held on Monday at 4 pm with Pastor Greg Keith officiating.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
