Stanley “Sonny” Maslowski, Jr.
Stanley “Sonny” Maslowski, Jr., 84, of New Martinsville, WV took the next step on his journey on Monday, April 7, 2025 while at Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.
Sonny was born December 8, 1940, in Steubenville, OH son of the late Stanley and Josephine (Sudol) Maslowski, Sr.
He was a retired employee of Weirton Steel, served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, member of the NRA, enjoyed deer hunting. He was a member of the Sistersville American Legion Post 67 and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in New Martinsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Frances “Cookie” (Joe) Veltry, Joseph (Elizabeth “Doll”) Maslowski and Margie (Alex) Broder and niece, Tawny Maslowski.
Surviving is his wife, Margaret “Margie” Whiteman; daughter, Tina (Rob “Hazard”) Reynard of Wintersville, OH; special niece, Valerie Broder; special nephew, Joseph “JJ” Maslowski; one grandchild; three great grandchildren, Elena Huff, Azena Huff and Novik Huff.
Friends received 6 p.m. until time of Rosary at 7:45 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Abraham and Rev. Deacon William Klug at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 10 Rosary Road, New Martinsville, WV 26155. Burial to follow in Northview Cemetery in New Martinsville.
