Mary “Kay” Katherine Wright

Mary “Kay” Katherine Wright, 74, of New Martinsville, WV left this world on Friday, April 4, 2025 while at her home.

Kay was born January 5, 1951, in Sistersville, WV daughter of the late Charles E. and Emma K. (Earley) White.

She was a homemaker and retired night stocker for Walmart. Kay enjoyed crocheting, watching Golden Girls and all game shows.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel “Danny” Wright (2023) and several of her siblings.

Surviving are her four children, Suzanne (Andy) Taylor of New Martinsville, WV, Buffy (Mark) Sprouse of Beallsville, OH, Cathy (Todd) Schuler of Warner Robins, GA and Daniel Wright, II of New Martinsville, WV; eleven grandchildren, Megan, Andrew, Charlie, Brandon, Trentton, Sr., Emily, Drew, Hunter, Alex, Jensen and Jackson; six great grandchildren and several siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 4-8 p.m., Monday, April 7, 2025 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025 with David Benson officiating. Burial to follow in the Friendly Cemetery in Friendly, WV.
