Betty Lou Campbell,

73, of New Martinsville, WV, was called

home to Heaven by her

Lord and Savior Jesus

Christ on Saturday,

April 5, 2025 while in

the Genesis Center in

Sistersville, WV.

She was born July

12, 1951, in Friendly,

WV, a daughter of the

late Lester Smith and

Virginia May Auten

Smith.

Betty was an active

member of the First

Church of God in New

Martinsville, WV for

over 35 years. She was

a member of the Women of the Church of

God, a choir member,

a volunteer in all

children’s ministries

and a faithful prayer

warrior. She graduated

from Sistersville High

School and from Institute as a Nursing Aide.

She volunteered as a

Nurses Aide at New

Martinsville Health

Care Center for over

25 years as well as

volunteering with

community outreach

programs.

She is survived by

her son, William

(Shandi) Campbell of

Sistersville, WV;

step-daughter, Valerie

(Bill) Fripp of Lincolnton NC;

half-brother, Dale

(Karen) Smith of St.

Mary’s, WV; grandsons, William Braden

Campbell, Jason (Anita) Rhodes and Joshua

(Amy Miller) Rhodes;

granddaughter, Zayley

Campbell; greatgrandson, Austin

Rhodes; great-grand

daughter, Paisley

Rhodes; niece, Heather

Arth; brother-in-law,

George Collins;

sister-in-law, Elizabeth

Seagrave Smith and

several close church

family members.

In addition to her

parents, she was preceded in death by her

husband, Opha Campbell; brother, Oscar

Smith; sister, Carol

Collins and

half-brothers, Lester

Smith, Jr. and Ronnie

Smith.

Services will be

Tuesday, April 8,

2025 at the First

Church of God, 255

Russell Avenue, New

Martinsville, WV.

Visitation will begin at

11:00 am until time of

funeral service at 1:00

pm with Pastor Rocky

Wills officiating. Interment will be at

Middlebourne

Cemetery with Pastor

Jeff Morris officiating.
