Charles Lee Huggins

Charles Lee Huggins, 86, of Proctor, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 while in Moundsville Healthcare.

Charles was born October 5, 1938, in New Dale, WV son of the late Emery and Clarice (Blake) Huggins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Parsons and Shirley Rogers.

Surviving is his wife of sixty-four years, Betty; two sons, Randy Huggins of Phoenix, AZ and Joe (Barbara) Huggins of Clarington, OH; granddaughter, Mandy (Aaron Honaker) Huggins of Richmond, KY; grandson, Charles Joseph “CJ” Huggins of Clarington, OH; special brother-in-law, John Parsons of Paden City and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Charles was a retired Mill Wright for the former Olan/Ormet Corp with forty-six years of service. He was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, NRA and New Martinsville Moose Lodge #931. Charles served in the United States Army Reserves.

A memorial service will be held at a future time.
