Darnell T. Dieterich

Darnell T. Dieterich, age 83, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025, at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center Parkersburg, WV.

He was born Nov. 15, 1941, in New Martinsville, WV, a son of the late Ralph and Etta Tennant Dieterich,

He was a retired employee of Tri State Petroleum and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 28 New Martinsville and enjoyed his camp at Big Bear Lake.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Dieterich.

Survivors include his companion of 31 years, Bev Roberts of New Martinsville, WV; son, David (Tracy) Asher of Belmont, WV; daughter, Lisa (Paul) Beaty of St Marys, WV two brothers, Gail Dieterich of New Martinsville, WV and Ronald Lee Dieterich of Sistersville, WV; 5 grandchildren, Cody, Nicholas, Emilie, Linsie and Jacob; special niece, Alexia and 2 nephews, David and Michael.

Family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory 751 Third St. New Martinsville, WV, where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am with Niles Hissom officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery New Martinsville.
