Roberta Jane Robinson

Roberta Jane Robinson, age 82, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at WVU Wetzel County Hospital, New Martinsville, WV.

She was born May 7, 1942, in New Martinsville, WV, a daughter of the late Lawrence Paul and Rhoda Eleanor Morgan.

She was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. Roberta was like a Mom and Grandma to everyone that she met. She was loved by everyone.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert Lee Robinson; grandson, Andrew Goddard and four brothers, William, Larry, Charles and Robert David Morgan.

Survivors include her a son, David (Melissa) Robinson of Sistersville, WV; three daughters, Kathy (Patrick) Goddard of New Martinsville, WV, Sherry (Brent) Wiant of Houston, TX, and Heather (Joseph) Stout of Williamstown, WV; three sisters, Janet Robinson of New Martinsville, Phyllis (James) Goddard of Paden City, WV and Cindy (Burton) Young of St. Clairsville, OH; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday January 9, 2025, from 11am until time of service at 1 pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, with Kevin Goddard officiating.

Private interment at the convenience of the family.
