Mary Elizabeth

Henthorn, 72, of Sistersville, West Virginia, passed away December 29, 2024, at

Select Specialty Hospital of Wheeling.

A daughter of the

late Lloyd Leasure and

Iva McDougal Leasure

Spencer, she was a

loving homemaker and

loved recipes, canning,

scrapbooking, and attending to her indoor

flowers. Mary was a

member of Refuge

Church of New Martinsville where she

volunteered for the

Clothing Closet project.

Those left to cherish

her memory include

her daughters, April

(Eric) Wolfe and Teresa (Woody) Lewis;

grandchildren, Jaclin

Wolfe, Hunter Wolfe,

and Dylan Tippins;

and best friend, Mary

Haynes.

In addition to her

parents, she was preceded in death by her

husband, Jackson

Keith Henthorn;

step-father, Edwin

Dorwin Spencer; sister, Ida Ann McDougal

Thomas; and several

other brothers and sisters.

A memorial service

will be conducted at a

later date. Myers Funeral Home has been

entrusted to assist with

final arrangements.
