took the next step on

her journey on Tuesday, December 24,

2024 while at Elison

in Marietta, OH.

Marjorie was born

November 8, 1931, in

Alvy, WV daughter of

the late Benton B. and

Carrie (Orr) Baker.

She was a retired

CNA for the former

Collin Anderson, she

loved playing BINGO,

making homemade

candy, going to the

beach, making crafts,

sewing, reading and

working SUDOKO

puzzles.

In addition to her

parents, she was preceded in death by her

husband, Floyd

McMinn; five brothers, Wayne Baker, Elmer Baker, Robert

Baker, James Baker,

and Larry Baker; sister, Doris Jean Talkington and two

sons-in-law, Jeff

Warner and Larry

Forrester.

Surviving are her

six daughters, Carolyn

Sue Warner of Arlington, TX, Evelyn sis

Smith Owens of

Middlebourne, WV,

Gloria Pauline Forrester of Middlebourne,

WV, Betty Lou (Larry)

Smith Britton of

Friendly, WV, Dixie

(Erwin) Smith Fouts of

Middlebourne, WV

and Sheila (Jay) Hayes

of Middlebourne, WV;

three sisters, Mary

Ann (Henry) Richards

of West Union, WV,

Nancy (Brad) Crouse

of West Union, WV

and Barbara (Phil) Tracy of Montrose, WV;

twelve grandchildren,

Julie, Kevin, Chuck,

Michael, Jason, Susie,

Stacy, J.P., Brad,

Tanya, Nicole and

Steven; thirty-five

great grandchildren;

ten great-great

grandchildren and

several nieces,

nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of

Life will be celebrated

in the Spring of 2025.
