Emma Jean Conley Lasure Lancaster

Emma Jean Conley Lasure Lancaster, age 82, of New Martinsville, WV, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 7, 1942, in Reader, WV, a daughter of the late William L. and Edna Leona Jones Conley.

She was a meatcutter for Herrick’s IGA and Witschey’s, Methodist by faith, a member of the Red Hat’s, Moose Lodge and American Legion Auxiliary, all of New Martinsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lancaster; two brothers, Lloyd and Robert Conley; two sisters, Thelma Lasure and Dolly Shreves; and a grandson, Nicholas Rush. Survivors include a son, Rodney (Brenda) Lasure of Pine Grove, WV; 2 daughters, Joyce (Don) Rush of Sistersville, WV and Billie Zimmerman of Sardis, OH; her companion, Joseph Johnson; 8 grandchildren, Benjamin (Laura) Rush, Nicki (Brian) Anglin, Evan (Kylie) Lasure, Rebecca (Steve) Smith, Brandon (Jackie) Loy, Ashlea (Jordan) Dunnick, Isaac Rush and Cassie Zimmerman; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 15, 2024, from 11am until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory 751 Third St. New Martinsville, WV, with Pastor Don Rush officiating.
