Eva Ann Rogalski

Eva Ann Rogalski, 73, of New Martinsville, WV left this world on Sunday, October 27, 2024 while at Ruby Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Eva was born June 24, 1951, in Chillicothe, OH daughter of the late Daniel J. and Esther F. (Lucas) Filliez.

She was a teacher’s aide at Wetzel County School, had a private daycare center in her home for twenty years, and she was a Mary Kay consultant for many years. The most important thing to Eva was her family and friends, followed by her love for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Mountaineers. Eva was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Art Brooks and Jim Filliez.

Surviving is her husband of thirty-three years, Steve Rogalski; four children, Britt (Lesley) Hayes of Pickerington, OH, Dani (Jim) Richthammer of Pittsburgh, PA, Teri (Dan) Hince of Triangle, VA and Stephen (Hunter) Rogalski of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Kerrigan, Joseph, Sarah, Catherine, Laura, Patrick, Michael, John Paul, Peter, Samantha, Kendall, Daniel, Mallory, Brian and in February 2026 her bundle of grandchildren will increase by one more; siblings, Jeanie Posey of Marco Island, FL, John “Fuzzy” (Renee) Filliez of Chesapeake, OH, Esther Faye Iams of New Martinsville, WV and Todd (Colleen) of New York and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received 2-8 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Jarvis Williams Funeral Home, 1224 S Bridge St., New Martinsville, WV. Mass of Christian burial will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 20 Rosary Rd, New Martinsville, WV with Fr. Joseph Abraham and Rev. Deacon William Klug co-officiating. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville, WV.

Rosary service will be held 7:30 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2024.
