John E. Barr, 64, of Mobley, WV, passed away surrounded by his family at home on October 8, 2024

He was born April 10, 1960, a son of the late, Don and Mabel (Hendershot) Barr.

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by, three infant sisters, a brother, Jack Barr, a nephew, Jason White, a brother-in-law, Dick Morgan and several grandchildren.

Survivors include his three children, Beth Reel of Joetown, Rosemary Webster of New Martinsville and John (Heather) Barr of Mobley, a significant other, Angel Barr, three sisters, Emma (Gerry) White of Big Run, Joyce Morgan of Mobley and Sandie (Carl) Bucher of Reader, three brothers, Dean (Diane) Barr of Jacksonburg, Carl (Rita) Barr of Mobley and Jerry (Norma) Barr of Jacksonburg, a sister-in-law, Marlene Barr of Mobley, six grandchildren, Serenity, Malikki, Gabe, Malachi, Elijah and Patience, several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, WV on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 11 AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00 PM with Bob Shaw officiating. Interment at the Shultz Cemetery, Jacksonburg, WV. Online condolences may be expressed at palmerfuneral.com.
