Josephine “Jo” Fauber,

age 91 of New Martinsville, WV passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at Elison Assisted Living, Marietta, OH.

She was born May 8, 1931, in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Robert W. and Martha L. Stout Howes.

Jo was a retired Medical Technician at Wetzel Co. Hospital, and a member of the New Martinsville United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for the Wetzel-Tyler Co. Better Reading Inc, Wheeling Health Right, United Methodist Women, Altar Guild, and the Salvation Army.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Fauber; daughter Susan Lynn Fauber; 3 sisters, Martha McCoy, Georgianna Wigal and Catherine Stone Shank; 2 brothers, Dr. Robert Howes and Scott Howes.

Survivors include 3 sons, James (Tracy) Fauber of Williamstown, WV, Robert (Gretchen) Fauber of Cibolo, TX, and Tyler Fauber of New Martinsville, WV; 5 grandchildren, Julie (Adam) Conner, Susan Fauber, Jimmy Fauber, Matthew Fauber, Mitchell Fauber; 2 great grandchildren, Ella Conner and Jake Conner.

Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
