Dotson, Doug

Dotson, Doug, 50, of Smithfield, died September 26, 2008, at his home.

He was a protestant by faith.

Doug was born on August 9, 1958, in Folsom, the son of the late Alice (Floyd) and the late Creed Dotson.

Surviving, along with his mother Alice, are four sons, Doug (Katie) Dotson and B.J. Dotson, all of Fort Wayne, Ind., Josh Dotson of Pine Grove, and Johnathan Dotson of Middlebourne; two brothers, Leslie Dotson and William (Terri) Dotson, all of Smithfield; four sisters, Alice Louise Aldridge of West Milford, W.Va., Shirley Rohde of Pine Grove, Gloria (Dave) Bennett, and Evelyn (John) Bowen, all of Wallace; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends were received Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove. Interment in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Hastings.
