As summer approaches, New Martinsville Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for a jampacked summer! The Lewis Wetzel Pool hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, Noon -7:00PM and Sundays from 2:00PM – 7:00PM. General Admission is $6.00, Seniors(65+) $3.00, veterans, military, and children 2 and under are free.

Bruce Miniature Golf is open for the season with hours of operation being Monday through Thursday, Noon – 8:00PM, Friday and Saturday, Noon – 9:00PM, and Sundays from 1:00PM – 8:00PM. Watch for late night Mini Golf Nights later in the season! General Admission is $4.00 per golfer, Seniors (65+) $2.00,

Veterans, military, and children 4 and under are free.

New Martinsville Parks and Recreation will also be hosting their annual summer events. Splash Bashes will be June 19 th 8:00PM – 10:00PM, July 10 th 7:30PM – 9:30PM, and August 7 th 7:30PM – 9:30PM. Cost is $2.00 per person. Passes will not be accepted for Splash Bash events.

Movies in the Park will be on July 17 th , August 14 th , and October 10 th at Bruce Park. Shows start at 8pm and the cost is free!

Safety City Camp will be June 15 th – 19 th at the Lewis Wetzel Family Center from 5:30PM – 7:30PM. Ages 4 – 6. Cost is $35.00 per child. Summer Day Camp will

be July 13 th – 17 th , and July 20 th – 24 th , ages 5 – 12 from 9:00AM – 3:00PM at Lewis Wetzel Park. Cost is $95 per week for 1 child, $170 for both weeks for 1 child, and a

sibling discount of $75 per week for the 2nd child. Swim Lessons will be June 29 th – July 3 rd , and Water Aerobics will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July from 7:00PM – 7:45PM. More information regarding Swim Lessons and Water Aerobics will be announced soon.

This year New Martinsville Parks and Recreation will be celebrating our Nation’s

250 th birthday with a Patriotic Color Run/Walk on July 1 st , 7:00PM at the New

Martinsville Bike Path, to sign up, you can call the Parks Department at 304-455-9130.

And you won’t want the patriotic fun to stop there, we are also offering a spruced-up

Arts in the Park celebration in conjunction with Artslink on July 4 th at Bruce Park from

12-4pm. There will be live music, good food, vendors, activities for kids, inflatables, and much more!
