Phillips, Garrison Marry

Mikayla Phillips and Ethan Garrison were married May 16, 2015, at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ where John Veyon officiated the ceremony. Following the ceremony was a reception held at the Mollohan Center located at the 4H campground.

The couple met through their home church. The bride is the daughter of Allen and Tasha Phillips of New Martinsville, W.Va., and the late Stephanie Underwood. The groom is the son of Mark and Sharon Garrison of Tyler County.

The bride was escorted by her farther. She wore a white princess illusion gown with a touch of lace and beading. She carried a red rose bouquet with her mother and late brother’s picture attached. Carly Hall, friend of the bride served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Hannah Carlin, Bree Williams, cousins of the bride, and Alexis Pixler, friend of the bride. Flower girls were Jessica Philips and Maci Underwood, sisters of the bride. Noah Garrison, brother of the groom served as the best man. Groomsmen were Mark Schuchardt, friend of the groom and Jacob Phillips, brother of the bride. Ring bearers were Cole and Luke Moore, friends of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in Clearwater, Florida and now reside in Dublin, Ohio with their cat, Kitty. The groom is employed as a test engineer for Honda Research and Development located in Marysville, Ohio.
