Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Reed

Jordan Reed and Emily Ward were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m., June 1, at Grand Pointe Conference and Reception Center in Vienna, W.Va., with Rev. Brian Seders officiating and Susan Seders as pianist/vocalist.

Friends and family of the bride and groom including: Meredith and Marcus Waggoner, Jared Reed, Emily Shepherd, Ashley Felton, Coty Meadows, Eric Croasmun, and Ethan Koontz served as ushers and readers.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Donna Ward of Paden City. She is the granddaughter of Gary and Phyllis Ward, and the late Rev. John and Alma Negley and Virginia Negley.

The groom is the son of Bill and Sherry Reed of Paden City. He is the grandson of Russ and Helen Stewart and the late Clay and Ruth Reed.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Paden City High School, a 2011 graduate of West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Arts in Science Education, and a 2013 graduate of West Virginia University with a Master of Arts in Reading Education. She is employed by Wetzel County Schools as a science teacher at Short Line School.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Paden City High School and will graduate from West Virginia University at Parkersburg in December with a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Software Engineering.

After a honeymoon to Pompano Beach, Fla., the couple resides in New Martinsville.
