Paul and Ruth Conner

Paul and Ruth Conner of New Martinsville will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 17.

They were united in marriage Aug. 17, 1963, at Graysville Methodist Church in Graysville, W.Va.

Ruth is the former Ruth Shank of Graysville and the daughter of the late Boyd and Eleanore Shank. She is retired from Wetzel County Magistrate Court. Paul is the son of Paul Conner and the late Wilma Conner. He is retired from Bayer Corporation.

They are the parents of two sons: Troy and wife Tricia with grandchildren Brianna and Zachary; and son Brock and his wife Erma with grandson Landen.

A family gathering is planned to honor the anniversary.
