Kathleen Butcher and Samuel N. Ritchie

Charles and Glenna Butcher of New Martinsville proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Butcher, to Samuel N. Ritchie.

Ritchie is the son of Samuel and Rebecca Ritchie of Sistersville and the grandson of Samuel and Phyllis Ritchie of Sistersville.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice.

She is currently attending West Liberty University and will be graduating in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She plans to attend law school after graduation.

The groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Magnolia High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College with an associate degree in Criminal Justice.

He is also currently attending West Liberty University and will be graduating in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He plans to enter the military after graduation.

A June 23 ceremony is planned.
