Dr. and Mrs. Geoffrey Ross Cunningham

Dr. and Mrs. Alan Wiman of Aiken, S.C., announce the marriage of their daughter, Karen Holly Wiman of Durham, N.C., to Dr. Geoffrey Ross Cunningham of Morgantown, W.Va. The ceremony was held on May 26 in Asheville, N.C. Dr. Cunningham is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Jay E. Cunningham of New Martinsville.

The bride, a graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford, N.J., earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism & Media and a Master of Science degree in Recreation Administration & Sports Management from the University of Tennessee. She is employed as the Director of Marketing & Special Events at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The groom, a graduate of Magnolia High School in New Martinsville, holds a Bachelors degree in Biology and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Following a three-year residency, Dr. Cunningham attained a Masters Certificate in Prosthodontics and was employed as Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Co-Director of the Graduate Prosthodontic Program at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Cunningham is now associated in the Prosthodontic Practice of Dr. James Hoke in Durham, N.C.

Following a wedding trip to Saint Lucia, the couple now resides in Durham.
