Carolyn and Ron Heasley

Ron and Carolyn Heasley celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6. Friends and family attended an open house in Ron and Carolyn’s honor and shared many fond memories.

The couple were wed on Oct. 6, 1962, in Paden City. Ron is the son of the late Lawrence and Cleo Heasley. He is a 1961 graduate of Paden City High School and an Air Force and Vietnam War veteran. Ron retired from Bayer Corp. in 2001. Carolyn is the daughter of the late Howard and Ruby Eggleston. She is also a 1961 graduate of Paden City High School and was a former employee of Mobay and a homemaker raising their three children.

Ron and Carolyn have three children, the late Linda Heasley Lancaster, Ron (Krissy) Heasley of Paden City, and Steve (Kim) Heasley of Oakdale, Conn. They also have six grandchildren: Amanda, Zach, Aaron, and Katrina Heasley of Paden City; Reed Childers of Oakdale, Conn.; and Paige (Adam) Bowers of St. Louis, Mo.
