Chuck and Arlene (Tappe) Frohnapfel

Chuck and Arlene (Tappe) Frohnapfel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 30. They were both born in West Virginia and graduated from Warwood High School. They were married at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Wheeling. Chuck went on to graduate from Northwestern University. After graduation, employment moved them to Lancaster, Pa., for 45 years. Four years ago, they moved back to the hills of West Virginia and are residing on Friendship Ridge. Six children, 17 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren later. . . they are just as in love as they were over 50 years ago.
