Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Chad Tallman

Amanda Faith Hoffmeyer and Daniel Chad Tallman were united in marriage on July 16 at two o’clock in the afternoon, at St. Joseph Church in Traverse City, Mich., with the Rev. Edwin Thome officiating the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Earl Hoffmeyer, Diane Malay, and Dawn Hoffmeyer of Onaway, Mich. The groom is the son of Dave and Carol Tallman of New Martinsville.

Rachel Hoffmeyer and Michelle Malay, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Nate Tallman and David Tallman, brothers of the groom, served as best men. Brooklyn Hoffmeyer and Britney Hoffmeyer, sisters of the bride were junior bridesmaids. Other attendants were Alison Schuiteman; Jessica Morris; Whittnie Smillie; Desiree Smillie; Destanae Smillie; Dean Morgan; Rob Weekley; Jordan Goddard; Josh Poling; Nick Koon; Matthew Malay, brother of the bride; Zack Carder; Tim Kowalski; Randy Hoffmeyer, brother of the bride; and Andrew Hoffmeyer, brother of the bride.

A reception was held at the Park Place Hotel, Traverse City, Mich.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Onaway High School and a 2008 graduate of North Central Michigan College with a degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a childcare specialist in Dameron, Md.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Magnolia High School, a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Business Management, and a 2010 graduate of Salem International University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is currently employed by the department of defense in Lexington Park, Md.

After a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple resides in California, Md.
